That doesn’t mean we can’t have some local fun. Pensacoin is all about networking and community!
Our goal is to create the FIRST official meme coin for a US city! Pensacola’s motto is “Florida’s first and future city”. It only seems fitting that Pensacola be the first city to have a meme coin!

Just a couple of locals who saw a great opportunity to jump on the crypto bandwagon. We’re initiating a grassroots campaign to let all Pensacola locals know what’s going on, and how they can participate so that hopefully, we can make national news as America’s FIRST official city with a meme coin!

Once you have your Phantom wallet and account created, you’re ready to dive into the Solana ecosystem!
The easiest way to start is to buy, sell, and trade Solana (SOL), here’s how:
- Once your wallet is set up, and you access it for the first time, you’ll be welcomed by a screen with two options:
- Buy crypto
- Transfer crypto
- Select “Buy Crypto” then “Solana (SOL)”
- Insert the amount of SOL you want to buy
- Select “Next”
- Choose your funding option: MoonPay, Stripe Coinbase Pay, etc.
- Finalize your order
Once you’ve completed your purchase, your SOL will appear in your wallet.
